Just a thought....
Isn't the fundamental problem here that we are up against people who control such massive amounts of money and have amassed such vast personal fortunes, that they sincerely believe that the many millions already being made online are 'nothing'?

Tie of the Iger
This is my first attempt, and I think it may be pretty horrendous. But hey - we all have to start somewhere. It's not a chant (I know, a bit crap for the first thing on a site called 'Chant Aid'). It's one of those 'comedy songs to the tune of an existing song' things, which usually make me want to go nuts with a gun in Wholefoods or something. Anyway, it's dedicated to Disney CEO Bob Iger, and so may (or may not) be useful to people picketing Disney. Feel free to send ideas, praise, abuse - but better still, write something better. It will be gratefully received. 4c.
'Tie of the Iger' (sung to the tune of 'Eye of the Tiger')
(Start by doing the guitar riff)
Risin' up - back on the street
Wrote my lines
Took my meetings.
Worked for Disney now I'm back on my feet
Just a Mac and a will to survive
But the Tie of the Iger
Is the thing we must fight
Rising up to the challenge of the mogul
Or he’ll get all the money
From the words that we write
Then he'll strangle us all
With the Tie of the Iger.
(do the guitar riff again)
Face to face -- out in the heat,
Hangin' tough, eatin' donuts.
They stole new media so we took to the street,
For the kill, with the skill to survive
But the Tie of the Iger
Is the thing we must fight,
Rising up to the challenge of the mogul.
Or he’ll get all the money
From the words that we write
Then he'll strangle us all
With the Tie of the Iger.
(repeat/end in an embarrassed mumble, and doing the guitar riff again just as that exec you pitched to a month ago drives past)

Welcome
I'm a striking WGA writer with, amazingly, a bit of time on my hands all of a sudden.
Like everyone in my union , I sincerely hope the current writers' strike is resolved very soon, with a fair deal. But it's not looking that way, so we're going to need new chants on those picket lines. A lot of them. Today, on TMZ, I saw a writer trying to improvise a pro-WGA rap. It was horrible. I knew I had to act. So I've decided to do my bit for the cause by offering chants and slogans - then inviting ideas from you. Whoever you are - writer, wannabe writer, ex-writer, a fan concerned about the future of TV and film, some guy on death row who writes poems about angels - or even a guilty studio CEO - please, please click on 'comments' and add your suggestion.
Thank You.
